When you’ve spent two decades building brands, leading CRM and marketing programs at companies like Amazon, Overstock, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Ancestry, you start to see patterns. You see what works, what stalls, and what could exist if you weren’t limited by corporate timelines or committee thinking. That’s where Some Luck Productions was born — a space to incubate ideas with autonomy, speed, and purpose.

🎯 The Name: Luck, Luxem, and a Bit of Wordplay

The name itself is a small wink. My last name, Luxem, is pronounced “Luck-some.” So when it came time to name my next chapter — the umbrella that would hold my work, experiments, and ventures — “Some Luck Productions” felt both accurate and symbolic. It’s not about luck as a strategy. It’s about recognizing that preparation, timing, and curiosity often meet somewhere between skill and serendipity.

Some Luck Productions is my version of that meeting point — part marketing studio, part experimental lab, and part creative playground.

🧩 Why I Started It

After years of leading CRM and lifecycle marketing at scale, I wanted to combine what I know about growth, data, and storytelling into something that could evolve on my own terms. Instead of a single company or consultancy, I wanted an ecosystem — one that connects disciplines rather than isolates them.

That ecosystem became a portfolio of ideas: marketing frameworks, AI tools, publishing projects, media experiments, and even eCommerce ventures. Each serves a different curiosity, but together they reflect how creativity and strategy can coexist without dilution.

Some Luck Productions is the operating system behind all of it — a structure that keeps the chaos organized and the ideas shipping.

🧠 The Philosophy: Build, Learn, and Loop

Every project under Some Luck Productions follows the same loop: build fast, learn from data, and iterate with honesty. Whether it’s an AI-powered blackjack trainer, a popcorn review blog, or a new CRM framework, each project is treated as a real business — not a hobby.

The idea is to treat experimentation as a muscle. Some projects will grow into standalone brands; others will exist just long enough to teach something new. Either outcome is a win.

🏗 What Lives Under the Umbrella

Some Luck Productions houses multiple verticals — each reflecting different forms of storytelling, marketing, and curiosity:

  • Marketing & CRM Services: Hands-on leadership and execution for growth-stage brands. Lifecycle, paid media, analytics, and AI automations that scale revenue with clarity.

  • Playbooks & Strategy: 70+ modules on marketing, retention, and leadership frameworks built from 20 years of experience at andrewluxem.com.

  • AI Gaming Tools: Blackjack-GPT, Craps-AI, Craps-GPT, and Slots-GPT — educational simulations for responsible learning.

  • Sports Intelligence: Sportsbook-AI and Sportsbook-GPT — modeling, line analysis, and bankroll testing for enthusiasts.

  • Media & Storytelling: Filmspiracies and Love of Popcorn — essays and joyful takes on film and culture.

  • Publishing & Education: Rubber Duck Debugging (book) and WisdomBranch — systems for thinking, writing, and learning better.

  • Commerce & Flips: Beehive Flippers — public experiments in reselling, sourcing, and small-business operations.

  • Labs & Ventures: From prototype domains to AI workflows, everything starts small, ships fast, and evolves with feedback.

🔄 Building Systems That Scale Beyond One Person

Some Luck Productions isn’t just a portfolio, it’s a process. Each project reuses what works: brand systems, analytics templates, CRM flows, and AI infrastructure. By building once and applying many times, it allows for high output without burnout.

This is also where AI comes in. From automated research assistants to multi-agent workflows, AI extends creativity rather than replacing it. It handles the repetitive so I can stay focused on insight, craft, and storytelling.

🌍 Collaboration and Open Doors

Some Luck Productions is also meant to be collaborative. It’s open to partnerships, sponsorships, co-development, and shared experiments. If a brand or creator fits the ethos, clarity, curiosity, and craftsmanship, there’s room to build together.

Whether it’s launching a new AI tool, testing a marketing model, or creating something joyful and weird, this is where those ideas find structure and support.

✨ Some Luck Productions

Some Luck Productions is what happens when twenty years of structured marketing meets a lifetime of creative curiosity. It’s a place where frameworks meet fun, data meets storytelling, and ideas get a chance to breathe.

Because sometimes, the best things don’t start with a perfect plan - they start with “some luck.”
